Have you ever wondered, “What is the purpose of life?” or felt like your life lacks meaning? Sometimes, we feel empty, no matter what we’ve achieved or the things we own.
Let me share that this feeling of emptiness is something many of us go through unexpectedly. Research on the web shows that 57% of American adults have pondered the question, at-least monthly during their lives “How can I find more meaning and purpose in life?”
Another search reveals that only 25% of Americans say they truly understand what makes their lives meaningful. This may seem like a big issue, but remember, even if we can’t always control it, we can work on improving it.
Finding purpose is something we all need, and it’s okay not to fully understand how everything works. Think about it this way – there are many things that add value to our lives, like cars, planes, or cell phones. We don’t need to know every detail of how they work to benefit from them, yet they are a great tool that benefits our lives daily.
Take love, for example – it’s something we feel strongly, even if we don’t fully grasp where it comes from. It makes us happy and gives us strength. So instead of getting tangled up in trying to figure out why we’re here and how everything works, let’s cherish the blessings we have – our families, friends, and all the good things already making our lives better. It is this that makes us stronger, it is the very main reason we can move forward from that feeling of isolation. Instead think of the following,
