Why the Little Things in life are so important?

I have been there too, and I have come to understand that taking the time to meditate on the little things in life is crucial. Just as it’s not easy to spend a one hundred dollar bill in one purchase, it’s easy to break the bill and spend it in small chunks of $5’s or $10’s at a time throughout the day without feeling any pain. Similarly, in our emotional life, small chunks of mistakes, bad decisions, or lies we tell ourselves can start to grow on us until they overwhelm us.

When we find ourselves in this state, it’s important to slow down and meditate on our lives. Why do we feel like everything is falling apart? What small decisions and actions led us to this point? At first, it may not be easy to remember how we got here, but at least we can understand one thing – we got here little by little. Small bad decisions got us to where we are, and so it is with small steps of progress that we can get ourselves back to feeling our good old selves once again.

It’s easy to feel like we’re being tested with our patience when one thing goes wrong, and everything else seems to start failing at that exact moment. But it’s essential to be patient with ourselves and understand that it will take a little patience and effort to feel free of this overwhelming feeling.
